Job Description –
Team management
- Lead and Manage the Concept Team.
- Building the capability of the team by carrying regular training and supporting the recruitment process.
- Act as technical lead on projects with responsibility of deliver to organization and project quality deliver requirements.
- Interact with Central organization to define the workload priorities and distribute the work to the local team accordingly.
- Supervise and guide graduate engineers.
Technical Responsibilities
- Develop concept design for new projects.
- Coordinate and deliver statutory projects. That’s includes preparation of drawings like LSA, FFA, LSS, FCP, structural fire protection etc.
- Coordinate and deliver projects related to stability. That includes review of stability booklet, inclining experiment report. Conduct of inclining experiment.
- Carry out Naval architectural calculations related to lightship weight estimate, stability, resistance, propulsion, manoeuvring etc.
- Support BD team for technical bid preparation for new prospective projects.
- Provide technical support to develop Loading software and other engineering software development activity as and when required.
- Coordination with clients and vendors.
Qualification
- BE / B. Tech in Naval Architecture /Marine Engineering
